The conscious consciousness does not die. Your common sense, knowledge will certainly disappear. However, the subconscious mind, the soul does not die. I can not die.
The soul of man is the alter ego of the Lord of the cosmic creation, a clan. The human soul is also a member of the family so that the LORD of Construction will not die so it will not die forever. This is called immortality of the soul. It is frightening because the soul is immortal.
